Privacy Policy

1. Overview
GovReady PH is a government job application companion that helps users track applications and prepare documents such as a Personal Data Sheet (PDS), resume, application letter, and merged PDF files. This Privacy Policy explains how GovReady PH handles information when you use the app.
2. Information stored on your device
Job applications, profile details, locally created documents, uploaded files, signatures, notes, schedules, and local backups are designed to be stored on your device rather than in GovReady PH cloud document storage. Removing the app, clearing app data, or deleting browser/app storage may remove this local information unless you created a backup.
3. Account and purchase information
You may use GovReady PH without creating a GovReady PH account. If you choose to sign in with an existing GovJobsPH account to restore or verify a purchase, authentication and entitlement information is processed through the connected GovJobsPH account service. We may receive information such as your account identifier, email address, plan, entitlement status, purchase status, usage allowance, and access expiration where needed to verify paid features.
4. AI features
When you actively use an AI feature, the information necessary to fulfill that request may be transmitted to our server and to an AI service provider. This may include the job title, agency or employer, selected skills, work-experience details, resume content, or application-letter details that you choose to submit. AI processing occurs only when you request an AI feature. Do not enter information you do not want processed for that request.
5. Payments
Android purchases use Google Play without requiring a GovJobsPH account. The app stores a purchase receipt on your device and sends it to the GovJobsPH purchase service for verification with Google Play. Verified receipts identify your access and usage allowance without an email or password. GovReady PH does not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play. We may receive and retain purchase identifiers, product information, transaction status, and entitlement information as needed to unlock purchased features, prevent duplicate fulfillment, support restoration, and handle refunds or disputes.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to provide a feature you request, operate authentication and purchase verification, process AI requests, comply with law, protect the service from fraud or abuse, or use service providers acting on our behalf. These providers may include Google Play, authentication/database infrastructure, hosting providers, and AI service providers.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for information transmitted to our services. Local documents remain subject to the security of your device, operating system, backups, and any apps with which you choose to share files.
8. Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app data, uninstall the app, or restore/replace it using a backup. Server-side account, entitlement, purchase, security, and AI-service records may be retained only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. You may request deletion of eligible server-side data using our Data Deletion page.
9. Children
GovReady PH is intended for job applicants and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
